The driver assistance systems use a stereo camera to make the new Mercedes E-class even more safe than the outgoing model and detect any obstacles in 3D. It is expected that this Spring it will come to US showrooms. There will be four new engine options: a new diesel four-cylinder engine in the E250 BlueTec with 190hp and 369 pound-feet of torque instead of the six-cylinder E350 BlueTec engine, 3.5-liter V6 engine with 302 horsepower in E350, same V6 with 27 horsepower electric motor in E400 Hybrid and the top 5.5-liter V8 engine with 402 horsepower in E550 4Matic.
