Brabus Shows 520 HP Mercedes SL

Brabus is a famous German tuner that works with high-performance Mercedes-Benz models. And now it focused on the new Mercedes SL-Class. Although this roadster is very powerful in stock form, but German tuner decided to make it even faster and add some nice enhancements to its interior and exterior.

Under the hood of this convertible we can see twin-turbo 4.7-liter V8 engine with a PowerXtra module that has plug-and-play capability installed, which helps the engine to generate more power. Also engine enhancements include a custom stainless steel exhaust system and a new auxiliary water-to-air intercooler. The output of enhanced engine was increased from already nice 435hp to whole 520 horsepower and great 604lb-ft of torque. There is also a top speed limiter installed but customers can choose a coupe’s maximum speed of 155mph, 172mph or 186mph. Now this roadster can sprint from 0 to 62 miles per hour in fantastic 4.4 seconds.

Exterior has some enhancements too. There are new rear spoiler, new front fenders with side air vents and custom side skirts. Also there is a variety of three different designs of custom wheels, which can be selected in 18-inch, 19-inch or 20-inch size.  Unfortunately, there is no official information about pricing yet.
