Aston Martin Reveals Upgraded 2013 DB9

After the British manufacter of luxury sports cars presented the new Vanquish, they decided to upgrade their DB9.

The sleek DB9 is a great luxury car, but it is on the market since far 2004, so it started to show the age. Especially in comparison with the the new Aston Martin Vanquish. British carmaker won’t replace the Aston DB9 now, but they did a facelift of the existing model with a lot of nice enhancements to keep this great model fresh until it will be replaced. These enhancements include an upgraded engine with more power and new styling of the interior and exterior.

New 6.0 liter V12 engine upgrades of the 2013 Aston Martin DB9 include new cylinder heads, throttle bodies, new intake manifold and a fuel pump. So, after all these upgrades, output increased from 470hp to great 510 horsepower and from 443 pound-feet of torque to 457 lb-ft. The exterior of the 2013 DB9 got zinc air vents on the hood of the car, more angular grille, larger trunk spoiler and new LED turning lights, which are integrated into side vents. The 2013 Aston Martin DB9 will be revealed in Volante convertible and Coupe at the Paris Motor Show. The price of this exlusive car will start at $185,400.
